4 cups Desiccated coconut
3 tablespoon coconut oil
5 tablespoon coconut condensed milk
1 1/2 tablespoon turmeric latte blend
FOR CHOCOLATE SAUCE
2 cups dark chocolate chips / vegan or any of your choice
1 tablespoon coconut oil

In a large bowl, add desiccated coconut powder, turmeric latte blend mix well until the mixture reaches pale yellow in color
Add coconut oil, coconut condensed milk mix well with hands or with a help of spatula until mixture reaches its binding consistency . taste of sweetness can be adjusted according to your liking
Then take small portion in your palm and start shaping them into bounty bar shape and keep them on lined tray with baking paper. If this shape isn’t your thing you can make round balls and make them like Rocher Ferrero
Once all bars are made place them in fridge for minimum 1 hour
After 45 minutes, In a double broiler melt the dark chocolate ,coconut oil until soft and keep mixing with a whisker. once chocolate sauce is melted keep it aside until chocolate sauce comes to room temperature and then start the dipping process
Take coconut bars out from freezer and start dipping coconut bars one by one in cooled chocolate sauce and place on a cooling rack. repeat until you finish the last one.
Drizzle chocolate sauce to create some patterns and keep it in fridge for an hour
Store these in a airtight container in the fridge and keep it a week and enjoy
Coconut condensed milk can be purchased from any Bin Inn store or New world
You can use maple syrup instead but I love adding coconut condensed milk as it gives a creamy taste . It literally taste like store bought
If you want this more yellow in color you can add few saffron strands in 2tablespoon almond or soy milk , mix and leave it until saffron brings beautiful color and then add when you are mixing condensed milk. It will create a stunning color and at the same time will bring a unique flavor and adds additional benefits which comes from saffron .
If you find your mixture is not binding enough add bit more coconut condensed milk
Don’t dip chocolate bars when chocolate sauce is hot, let sauce get bit cooler and then start the dipping process
If you want to use dark chocolate and want bars to be bit sweet add 2teaspoon agave this will bring some sweetness to your dark chocolate

Rather than shaping each bar I pressed mixture into a dish and froze then cut into bars. Much less time consuming and less messy but just as delicious. I will never buy a Bounty Bar again as these are so easy and even more delicious
