4 cups cabbage (shredded)

2 cup broccoli (cut into lengthwise florets)

1/2 cup peas (frozen and thawed)

3 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoon dish delicious spice blend

2 teaspoon lemon juice

2 tablespoon feta cheese (crumbled)

salt according to your taste

micro green handful for garnish

Truffle olive oil to drizzle when serving

I’m thrilled to share with you a recipe that holds a special place in my heart. This stir-fry cabbage, enriched with Monsflavors’ delightful blend, takes me back to my childhood, where it was a beloved family favourite. Today, I’m excited to give it a personal twist, infusing it with my own love for culinary exploration and wholesome ingredients. Method:

Heat oil in a large heavy-bottomed pan, preferably cast iron, over low-medium heat.
Add the broccoli florets and thawed peas to the pan. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the vegetables are slightly cooked and become a bit charred. Once done, transfer them   to a separate plate. In the same pan, add more oil and the shredded cabbage. Sprinkle the dish delicious spice blend, salt, and lemon juice over the cabbage. Give it a good mix. Cook the cabbage on medium to high flame until it is slightly cooked and becomes charred. Be careful not to overcook it; you want to keep it crispy.
Once the cabbage is done, add the cooked broccoli and peas back into the pan. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. crumble the vegan feta cheese over the dish and gently toss to incorporate. Transfer the dish to a serving plate. Drizzle some truffle olive oil or avocado oil over the dish.
Garnish with micro greens. If desired, add nuts for extra crunch.
Enjoy the dish as a side dish, fill it in a wrap, or serve it over steamed rice.

Notes:

For this recipe you can add some shredded carrots, baby spinach, corn and make it more wholesome.

Nuts can be a great option if you want to add some crunch to this dish.

There are many vegan feta cheese options in the market these days, if you choose to make this dish a vegan dish.

When I make this recipe I like to stir fry broccoli and peas first and once they are done , I transfer into different plate and in the same pan fry cabbage and then add broccoli , peas at the end. In this way you get crispy and charred cabbage.

I like to finish it off with avocado infused olive oil, lemon and pepper flavour from grove avocado oil is my favourite, you can get it from Pak and Sav or Hamilton/ Cambridge farmers market is where I always shop. I love adding various kind of fats to my meals, If you want some change you can even add Truffle olive oil.
