500 Grams Oyster mushrooms

4 Tablespoon olive oil

1 Red onion (chopped)

5 Cloves(chopped)

11/2 Tablespoon Freedom Spice blend

1/2 Cup Roasted walnuts

2 Tablespoon Thyme(chopped)

2 Teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 Teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste ( In this recipe Himalayan salt has been used)

Mushroom Pate

This Plant based mushroom pate made with FREEDOM SPICE BLEND is a delicious spread, and makes an excellent choice for a meat free option. I am sure everyone wants an easy and fuss free recipe for all occasions, well I can assure you all this recipe will always be popular at your parties and will make a great light snack lunch. Oyster mushroom’s gives meaty taste that even hardcore meat lovers will get hooked to this deliciousness !!


Heat 2 tablespoon olive oil in a nonstick pan on medium heat, add walnuts, roast until light golden brown then transfer on the plate and keep aside

In the same pan add chopped onions sauté until translucent and until they turn pink in color

Then add chopped garlic and sliced oysters, stir in well and cook for 5,6 minutes until mushrooms reduce down in size

Add chopped thyme leaves (in this recipe I used leaves not the stems) freedom spice blend, salt and pepper to taste, lemon juice cook for 10minutes

Once done switch off the heat and let the mixture cool down completely

Then in a blender add cooked mushrooms, toasted walnuts, remaining olive oil blend until smooth

Serve it on crackers or toasted bread with fresh thyme and drizzle of avocado oil on top


  • You can use any type of mushrooms for this recipe
  • If you are allergic to walnuts, you can swap it with almonds, pecans, pine nuts
  • This recipe can be stored until week, make sure press it with cling foil to make the top smooth look
