Checkboard Sweet

Almond Flour – 1 cup

Coconut milk powder- 1 cup

Icing sugar – 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp

Soy milk – 1/4 cup / or any plantbased

Cacao powder- 2tbsp

Coconut oil – 2tbsp

These are so appealing and not so hard to make as you think.. Gluten free, vegan and yes it has sugar but hey what’s life without sugar pleasure ?. Got to keep some Word S in this dessert Salivate, Sexy , Sparkling, Soulful , Sweetness and So on.


Add Almond flour , Coconut milk powder, icing sugar cardamom powder, coconut oil and crumble the mixture , then add milk and knead a dough .

Do the same quantity with Chocolate too if not then devide the dough ingredients and add Cacao powder in one .

Once the dough is made , Roll it separately and make a log . Cut them in two halfs

Now start Rolling them in two separate logs making sure you form logs in square shape .

Once they are made place strips of dough on foil or baking sheet and layer alternating white and chocolate strips. Gently press strips together.

Repeat the second layer to create checkeboard effect. Wrap the assembled log in the cling wrap . Keep it in the fridge for half an hour.

To ensure an even design measure the strips of dough carefully.

Cut pieces and serve . You can keep this in fridge in airtight container for weeks and enjoy .
