Feijoas matures in autumn and is green egg shape fruit. It has sweet, aromatic flavour and the flesh is very juicy. It tastes like Guava. It is also called pineapple guava by Google Uncle’s info. I have lots of homegrown feijoas at the moment so making most of it. I love this fruit and in New Zealand it is the fruit that is commonly available in everyone’s garden. I love to explore the fruity flavour and texture in my baking, and I am happy with the result. It tastes yummy, texture is soft and moist yet firm.
